Patricia Ann (Chmura) Ceniglio, 72, of Ellington, CT, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Stephen J. and Frances (Opalacz) Chmura. Pat was an avid member of the Ellington Senior Center, and could be found there Wii bowling, playing shuffle board, playing dominos, and participating in events. She also enjoyed her monthly "out to lunch club" lunches with her friends. Her hobbies included crafting, gardening, sewing, knitting, swimming, bird watching, singing and playing the piano. She loved spending time with all her friends, and most of all, her family, especially her grandchildren. Pat is survived by her five children, Thomas Ceniglio III and his wife Bernadette Aleksey, Peter J. Ceniglio and his wife Cheryl, David S. Ceniglio and his wife Margaret, Patricia A. Furness and her husband Gary, and Timothy S. Ceniglio and Dawn Plefka; 11 grandchildren, Tara Lynn Clynch, Pierce and Anthony Ceniglio, Joseph Aleksey, Maria Ceniglio, Kevin, Brian, and Kyle Filbig, and Zachary, Josh, and Ben; brother, Stephen J. Chmura, Jr. and family; and sister, Frances Rokicki and family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow at St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pat's name may be made to the Ellington Senior Center, 40 Maple St., Ellington, CT 06029.
