Leopaul A. Daigle, Sr., 74, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013. He was born in Biddeford, ME, son of the late Paul and Armande (Bisaillon) Daigle. Leo served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was self employed as a general contractor. He coached East Hartford Little League Baseball for many years and was the Assistant District Commissioner for the Babe Ruth League. He was also a member of the East Hartford Elk Lodge for over 40 years. He was a fan of the New York Yankees and UConn Women's Basketball. He enjoyed Maine, Procaccini's, Augie & Ray's Drive In, and most of all, he loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of DaVita Dialysis Center in Vernon for their kindness. Leo is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Lorraine (Carter) Daigle; five children, Diane White and her husband Michael, Nancy Pisieczko and her husband Steven, Dave Daigle, Karen DePasquale and her husband John, and Leopaul A. Daigle, Jr. and his wife Maria; grandchildren, Jessica Salzarolo and her husband Paul, Katie and Steven Burnham, Stephanie and Derek Pisieczko, and Anthony and Gina DePasquale; great grandchildren, Paul Hunter Salzarulo and a baby girl on the way; brother, Ronald Daigle and his wife Rita; sister, Pauline Beaupre and her husband Donald; four brothers-in-law, Michael Carter, Phillip Carter and his wife Gloria, Roger Carter and his wife Lise, and Leo Peter Carter and his wife Pauline; his beloved dog Belle; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Armand Daigle. His funeral will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco, ME, will be held privately. Calling hours are on Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
