Eva V. Woodworth

Eva Victoria Woodworth, 91, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Sweetwater, WY on December 3, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Tinea (Garcia) Lamar. She was the widow of Staff Sgt. William J. Woodworth, US Air Force. Eva was also predeceased by her longtime companion Gene Glaude; his daughter Jeanne and her family were part of her life for many years. Eva was also predeceased by a sister Frances L. Negrelli of Willimantic, CT and a nephew Michael L. Ricketts of Niantic, CT. Eva is survived by a sister Ruth Chestor and her husband Chet of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by her nieces, Linda Cushner and her husband Richard of Paris, TX, Catharine Rowe of Ellington, CT, Kathy Cummings and her husband Michael and family of Tijeras, NM and Dorothy Rose and her husband Dan and family of Belen, NM. She is also survived by two nephews, Robert Chestor of Denver, CO and Joseph Negrelli III of NY, NY. Surviving great-nephews are Christian Lamot and his wife Betsy of St. Paul, MN and Aaron Lamot of San Diego, CA. She was recently gifted with a great-great niece Saydie Eggleston, and a great-great nephew Stanislaus Lamot. Eva was a loving aunt and sister to her family. She will be missed by all the children she helped raised. Eva was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Chapel, 42 North Eagleville Road, Storrs, CT 06268, which is where her funeral service will be held at on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 3:00 P.M.
