Agnes Julia (McGann) Kennedy, 77, of Willington, CT, joined the angels July 27, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born April 11, 1936, in Benton, New Brunswick, Canada; the youngest of 8 siblings; Francis, Lawrence, Katherine, Gregory, Margaret, Mary, and Patrick, born to the late Alice and Edward McGann. On November 4th 1954, she married the love of her life, Fredrick Kennedy, who survives. Agnes is survived by her 5 children, Debbie, Bonita, Gerald, Margaret, Michael and their spouses. She was "Nana" to 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved to spoil and cook for whenever she had the opportunity. Agnes moved from Canada to the United States in 1964, her family resided in Manchester, CT for many years where she worked at Food Mart for more than 10 of those years. Agnes and her husband retired and moved to Willington, CT in 1989 where she lived up until her passing. Agnes' favorite moments were spent by her husband's side, in a Bingo hall, on a dance floor, or in the kitchen making jams, jellies and pickles. She will be remembered as a caring woman who loved to have her family gathered around her table sharing stories and listening to country music. Over the past few years Agnes was supported in so many ways by teams of loving medical staff, we are very grateful to DaVita Dialysis, St. Francis Hospital, and Masonicare Hospice for helping to make her final days on earth comfortable. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. The family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the National Kidney Foundation, Connecticut Chapter, (, 2139 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or to the Willington Fire Department #1, P.O.
